বঙ্গবন্ধু শেখ মুজিবুর রহমানের নাম ভাঙিয়ে চাঁদাবাজি বা অনিয়ম করলে কাউকে ছাড় দেয়া হবে না বলে হুঁশিয়ারি

স্টাফ করেসপন্ডেন্ট: শোকের মাসে বঙ্গবন্ধু শেখ মুজিবুর রহমানের নাম ভাঙিয়ে চাঁদাবাজি বা অনিয়ম করলে কাউকে ছাড় দেয়া হবে না বলে হুঁশিয়ারি উচ্চারণ করেছেন আওয়ামী লীগের সাধারণ সম্পাদক এবং সেতুমন্ত্রী ওবায়দুল কাদের।

শুক্রবার রংপুর সড়ক জোন, বিআরটিসি ও বিআরটিএ’র কর্মকর্তাদের সঙ্গে শেষ মুহূর্তের ঈদের প্রস্তুতি বিষয়ক এক মতবিনিময় সভায় এমন মন্তব্য করেন মন্ত্রী। সরকারি বাসভবন থেকে ভিডিও কনফারেন্সের মাধ্যমে মতবিনিময় সভায় যুক্ত হন আওয়ামী লীগের সাধারণ সম্পাদক।

আগামীকাল শনিবার থেকে শুরু হচ্ছে শোকের মাস আগস্ট। ১৯৭৫ সালের এই মাসের ১৫ তারিখ ঢাকার ধানমন্ডির বাসায় সপরিবারে বঙ্গবন্ধু শেখ মুজিবুর রহমানকে নৃশংসভাবে হত্যা করে ঘাতকরা। প্রতি বছর আওয়ামী লীগসহ পুরো জাতি আগস্ট মাসকে শোকের মাস হিসেবে পালন করে। এই মাস আসলে বঙ্গবন্ধুর নাম ভাঙিয়ে অনেকের বিরুদ্ধে চাঁদাবাজির অভিযোগ উঠে।

আগামীকাল থেকে শুরু হওয়া শোকের মাসে কেউ চাঁদাবাজি করলে কাউকে ছাড় দেয়া হবে না বলে হুঁশিয়ারি উচ্চারণ করেন আওয়ামী লীগের সাধারণ সম্পাদক।

ভিডিওতে ওবায়দুল কাদের করোনা সংক্রমণ রোধে ঈদে ঘরমুখো যাত্রীদের শতভাগ মাস্ক পরিধান এবং স্বাস্থ্যবিধি মানাসহ সর্বোচ্চ সতর্কতা অবলম্বনের অনুরোধ জানান।

Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman warns that no one will be spared for extortion or irregularities

Staff Correspondent: Awami League General Secretary and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader has warned that no one will be spared if extortion or irregularities are committed by defaming Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in the month of mourning.

The minister made the remarks at a last-minute exchange of views with officials of Rangpur Road Zone, BRTC and BRTA on preparations for Eid on Friday. The general secretary of the Awami League joined the exchange of views through video conference from the government residence.

The month of mourning is starting from tomorrow, August. The assassins brutally killed Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and his family at his house in Dhanmondi, Dhaka on the 15th of this month in 1975. Every year the whole nation including Awami League observes the month of August as a month of mourning. This month, in fact, many people were accused of extortion by defaming Bangabandhu.

The Awami League general secretary warned that if anyone extorts money in the month of mourning starting from tomorrow, no one will be spared.
