রাত পোহালেই ঈদ। ফলে আজই শেষদিন ঘরে ফেরা। আগের বছরগুলোতে সপ্তাহব্যাপী ঘরমুখো মানুষের ভিড় থাকলেও এবার ছিল উল্টোচিত্র। তবে শেষদিনে মহাসড়কগুলোতে ঘরে ফেরা মানুষের ঢল নেমেছে। 

রাজধানীতে মুলত এখন বাস কর্ম ও শ্রমজীবী মানুষের। করোনা ভাইরাসের ছোবলে সব কিছুই লণ্ডঘণ্ড, তবুও পরিবারের সাথে ঈদের আনন্দ ভাগাভাগির আকুতি। তাই প্রিয়জনের উদ্দেশ্যে রওনা হয়েছেন রাজধানীর ঢাকাবাসী।



শুক্রবার (৩১ জুলাই) ভোর থেকেই গাবতলি-যাত্রাবাড়ী এলাকায় মানুষের প্রচণ্ড ভিড় দেখা হযেছে। এছাড়াও ঢাকা থেকে বিভিন্ন সড়কে মানুষের ভিড় দেখা গেছে। বাস-ট্রাক যে যেভাবে পাড়ছেন বাড়িমুখে রওনা দিচ্ছেন।

সকালে গাবতলী এলাকার চিত্র দেখা যায়, রাজধানীর গাবতলী এলাকায় নেমেছে মানুষের ঢল। সবাই যেভাবে পারছেন ছুটছেন কাঙ্ক্ষিত পরিবহনের কাছে। কেউবা ছুটছেন মোটরসাইকেলে করেই। বাস টার্মিনালে অপেক্ষমাণ যাত্রী থাকলেও বাস কাউন্টারের কর্মচারীরা বলছেন, যাত্রী অনেক কম। আবার কারও টিকিট বিক্রি সব শেষ। 

রাজধানীর সদরঘাটের লঞ্চ টার্মিনালে গিয়ে দেখা গেছে উপচেপড়া ভিড়। এই অবস্থায় যাত্রীরা স্বাস্থ্যবিধি কম মানছেন। এ ছাড়া দেখা গেছে, লঞ্চগুলোও সুযোগ বুঝে বাড়তি যাত্রীবোঝাই করে সময়ের আগেই ছেড়ে যাচ্ছে। তবে সরকারি নির্দেশনা মেনে মাস্ক ছাড়া কাউকে টার্মিনালে প্রবেশ করতে দিচ্ছে না পুলিশ।



এছাড়াও পাটুরিয়া-দৌলতদিয়া, কাঁঠালবাড়ী-শিমুলিয়া রুটে ফেরি সার্ভিস চালু হওয়ায় এসব ঘাটমুখো মহাসড়কে ঘরেফেরা মানুষের ঢল নেমেছে। চাপ বাড়ছে ফেরি ঘাটে। পারাপারের সময় মানা হচ্ছে না সামাজিক দূরত্ব। 

আগের দুইদিন ফাঁকা থাকলেও ঈদযাত্রায় শিল্পাঞ্চল আশুলিয়ার একাধিক স্থানে মাত্রাতিরিক্ত যানজট দেখা গেছে। এতে আশুলিয়া থেকেই ভোগান্তিতে রয়েছেন উত্তরবঙ্গের যাত্রীরা।

সরেজমিনে দেখা যায়, নবীনগর-চন্দ্রা মহাসড়কের ডেন্ডাবর পল্লীবিদ্যুৎ বাসস্ট্যান্ড থেকে জিরানী পর্যন্ত প্রায় ৯ কিলোমিটার, তারপর একটু গতি পেলেও নন্দনপার্ক থেকে চন্দ্রা পার হয় কালিয়াকৈর রেলস্টেশন পর্যন্ত যানজট রয়েছে।
