সেনাবাহিনীর বিনামূল্যে গর্ভবতী ও দুঃস্থ নারীদের স্বাস্থ্যসেবা প্রদান

রায়হান আলমনওগাঁ প্রতিনিধি: জাতীর জনক বঙ্গবন্ধু শেখ মুজিবুুর রহমানের জন্মশত বার্ষিকী উপলক্ষ্যে নওগাঁর ধামইরহাট উপজলোর প্রত্যান্ত এলাকার গর্ববতী মায়েদের বিনামূল্যে স্বাস্থ্যসেবা দিয়েছে সেনাবাহিনী। রবিবার বেলা ১২ টা থেকে দিনব্যাপী ১১ পদাতিক ডিভিশন বাংলাদেশ সেনাবাহিনিীর আয়োজনে উপজেলার মংগলবাড়ী সরকারী প্রাথমকি বিদ্যালয়ে এ সেবা প্রদান করা হয়।

সেবা প্রদান কার্যযক্রমরে উদ্বোধন করেন, বগুড়া সেনাবাহিনীর ১০ বীর অধনিায়ক লে: কর্নেল মো: গোলাম মাবুদ হাসান পিএসসি। বগুড়া সেনাবাহিনীর সার্বিক ব্যবস্থাপনায় সম্মিলিত সামরিক হাসপাতাল বগুড়ার তত্ত্বাবধানে সিনিয়র গাইনোলজিষ্ট বিশেষজ্ঞ ডাক্তার কর্নেল শাহনূর চিশতীসহ বিশেষজ্ঞ ডাক্তার দিয়ে ৩০০ জন গর্ভবতী মাযেদের বিনামূল্যে এ স্বাস্থ্যসেবা ও ঔষুধ দেওয়া হয়। 

এসময় ২১ ফিল্ড অ্যাম্বুলন্সে এর অধনিায়ক লে: কর্ণেল মোছা: তহমিনা আকতার, মেডিকেল অফিসার ক্যাপ্টেন মুনমুন, ১০ বীর এর ক্যাপ্টেন পারভেজ ও ক্যাপ্টেন জুয়েলসহ সেনাবাহিনীর অন্যান্যরা সদস্য উপস্থিত ছিলেন। বগুড়া সেনানিবাসের ১০ বীর অধিনায়ক লে: কর্নেল মো: গোলাম মাবুদ হাসান পিএসসি বলেন, করোনা ভাইরাসের কারণে চিকিৎসা সেবা থেকে অনেকটা পিছিয়ে গেছে নারীরা। 

একারণে প্রত্যান্ত এলাকার গর্ভবতী ও দুস্থ নারীদের চিকিৎসার জন্য ফ্রি মেডিকেল ক্যাম্প করা হয়েছে। যেখানে চিকিৎসার পাশাপাশি বিনামুল্যে ঔষধ প্রদান করা হচ্ছে।  তিনশতাধিক নারীদের চিকিৎসা সেবা দেয়া হবে। তবে নারীদের সংখ্যা যদি আরো বেশি হয় আমরা সেবা দেয়ার চেষ্টা করবো। 

তিনি বলেন, এছাড়া যাদের করোনা ভাইরাসের উপসর্গ পাওয়া যাবে তাদের নমুনা সংগ্রহ করা হবে।

Army open roar and provide healthcare to level women

Raihan Almonogaon Correspondent: On the occasion of the birth centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the army has provided free health care to pregnant mothers in remote areas of Dhamairhat upazila of Naogaon. The service was provided at Mangalbari Government Primary School in the upazila on Sunday by the 11th Infantry Division of the Bangladesh Army.

Inaugurating the service delivery program, Lt. Col. Md. Golam Mabud Hasan PSC, 10 heroic commanders of Bogra Army. Under the overall management of Bogra Army, under the supervision of Combined Military Hospital Bogra, 300 pregnant mothers were provided free health care and medicine with the help of senior gynecologist Dr. Colonel Shahnoor Chishti.

Lt. Col. Mosha Tahmina Akhter, Commander of 21 Field Ambulance, Capt. Moonmoon, Medical Officer, Capt. Parvez of 10 Bir and other members of the Army including Capt. Jewel were present at the time. Lt. Col. Md. Golam Mabud Hasan PSC, the 10th Veer Commander of Bogra Cantonment, said that women have lagged far behind in medical services due to Corona virus.

That is why free medical camps have been set up for the treatment of pregnant and distressed women in remote areas. Where treatment as well as free medicine is being provided. Medical services will be provided to more than three hundred women. However, if the number of women is more, we will try to provide services.


He said samples would also be collected from those who have symptoms of corona virus.
