আইপিএলের দিকে তাকিয়ে এখনও ধোনি

স্পোর্টস ডেস্ক: ভারতীয় ক্রিকেটে মহেন্দ্র সিং ধোনির ভবিষ্যত নিয়ে গত এক বছর ধরেই নানারকম জল্পনা চলছে। কিন্তু এর সমাধান কবে হবে তা কেউ জানে না। গত ২০১৯ বিশ্বকাপের পর থেকেই জাতীয় দলের বাইরে ভারতের দুই বিশ্বকাপজয়ী অধিনায়ক। ইতোমধ্যেই তিনি বিসিসিআইয়ের কেন্দ্রীয় চুক্তি থেকে বাদ পড়েছেন। 
অনেকেই বলছেন, আন্তর্জাতিক ক্রিকেটে ধোনির প্রত্যাবর্তনের সম্ভবনা প্রায় নেই বললেই চলে। তবে ধোনি এ বিষয়ে কিছু না বললেও তার ম্যানেজারের দ্বারা কিছু আভাস পাওয়া গেছে।
এবারের আইপিএলের মাধ্যমে নিজেকে প্রমাণ করে বাইশ গজে ফেরার কথা ছিল মহেন্দ্র সিং ধোনির। কিন্তু করোনার কারণে আইপিএল অনিশ্চিত। টি-টোয়েন্টি বিশ্বকাপও ঝুলে আছে। মরণ ভাইরাসের কারণে ধোনির ক্যারিয়ারও অনিশ্চিত হয়ে পড়েছে। একবছর ক্রিকেট ছাড়া থাকলেও ধোনির ভাবনায় কোনো অবসর পরিকল্পনা নেই। সংবাদসংস্থা পিটিআইকে এমন কথাই বলেছেন তার ম্যানেজার তথা ছোটবেলার বন্ধু মিহির দিবাকর। ধোনি নাকি এখনও আইপিএলের আশায় আছেন।
মিহির দিবাকর বলেছেন, 'বন্ধু হিসেবে আমরা ক্রিকেট নিয়ে খুব একটা কথা বলি না।তবে ওকে দেখে যতটা বুঝি অবসর নিয়ে এখন ওর তেমন কোনো ভাবনা নেই। বরং আইপিএল খেলতে ও দৃঢ়প্রতিজ্ঞ। এই মেগা টুর্নামেন্টে মাঠে নামার জন্য ও কিন্তু অনুশীলন শুরু করেছিল। চেন্নাইয়ের প্রস্তুতি ক্যাম্পেও যোগ দিয়েছিল। এখনও নিজের ফার্মহাউজে ফিটনেস ট্রেনিং কিন্তু চালিয়ে যাচ্ছে। লকডাউন উঠলে সে আবার অনুশীলন শুরু করবে।'

Dhoni is still looking at the IPL

Sports Desk: There has been a lot of speculation about the future of Mahendra Singh Dhoni in Indian cricket for the last one year. But no one knows when it will be resolved.
