এই প্রথম নন এমপিও স্কুল কলেজের শিক্ষক কর্মচারীদের টাকা দেয়া হচ্ছে -খাদ্যমন্ত্রী

রায়হান আলম, নওগাঁ প্রতিনিধি: খাদ্যমন্ত্রী সাধন চন্দ্র মজুমদার এমপি বলেছেন, বর্তমান সরকার শিক্ষাবান্ধব সরকার। করোনায় দূর্যোগ কালীন সময়ে বর্তমান সরকারের আমলেই এই প্রথম নন এমপিও স্কুল কলেজের শিক্ষক কর্মচারীদের টাকা দেয়া হচ্ছে। যা কোন সরকারের আমলেই দেয়া হয় নাই। 

তিনি সোমবার বিকেলে নওগাঁর নিয়ামতপুর উপজেলা অডিটোরিয়ামে উপজেলার নন এমপিও স্কুল কলেজের শিক্ষক কর্মচারীদের চেক বিতরন অনুষ্ঠানে ভিডিও কনফারেন্সের মাধ্যমে এসব কথাগুলো বলেন। 

খাদ্যমন্ত্রী আরও বলেন, এই সরকার দেশ ও জাতীকে উন্নত ও অগ্রসর করতে এবং যুগোপযোগী শিক্ষার মান উন্নয়নে ব্যাপক পদক্ষেপ গ্রহন করেছে। দেশ ও জাতীকে উন্নত ও অগ্রসর করতে শিক্ষকদের আরও বেশী ভূমিকা রাখার আহবান জানান মন্ত্রী। 

উপজেলা নির্বাহী অফিসার জয়া মারিয়া পেরেরার সভাপতিত্বে অনুষ্ঠানে ভিডিও কনফারেন্সে যুক্ত হন, জেলা প্রশাসক হারুন-অর-রশীদ, উপজেলা পরিষদের চেয়ারম্যান ফরিদ উদ্দীন আহম্মেদ, উপজেলা মাধ্যমিক শিক্ষা অফিসার প্রমুখ। উপজেলার ১৮৯ জন নন এমপিও স্কুল কলেজের শিক্ষকদের প্রত্যেককে ৫ হাজার টাকা করে ও কর্মচারীদেরকে ২ হাজার ৫০০ টাকা করে মোট নগদ ৬ লাখ ৫৭ হাজার ৫০০ টাকা বিতরন করেন।

This is the first time non-MPO school college teachers are being paid - Food Minister

Raihan Alam, Naogaon Correspondent: Food Minister Sadhan Chandra Majumder MP has said that the present government is an education-friendly government. This is the first time that money is being given to non-MPO school college teachers during the disaster in Corona. Which was not given during the tenure of any government.

He made the remarks in a video conference at Niamatpur Upazila Auditorium in Naogaon on Monday afternoon.



The Food Minister further said that this government has taken comprehensive steps to develop and advance the country and the nation and to improve the quality of education up to date. The Minister called upon the teachers to play a greater role in developing and advancing the country and the nation.

Deputy Commissioner Harun-ur-Rashid, Upazila Parishad Chairman Farid Uddin Ahmed, Upazila Secondary Education Officer and others joined the video conference presided over by Upazila Executive Officer Jaya Maria Perera. The 189 non-MPOs of the upazila distributed a total of Tk 8,56,500 in cash to the teachers of the school and college at the rate of Tk 5,000 each and to the staff at the rate of Tk 2,500.
