ফ্লাইওভারের কার্পেটিং কাজ পরিদর্শন করলেন মেয়র লিটন

প্রেস বিজ্ঞপ্তি: মহানগরীর পূর্ব-বুধপাড়া এলাকায় ফ্লাইওভারের কার্পেটিং কাজ পরিদর্শন করেছেন রাজশাহী সিটি কর্পোরেশনের মেয়র এ.এইচ.এম খায়রুজ্জামান লিটন। বৃহস্পতিবার বিকেলে ফ্লাইওভারের কাপের্টিং কাজ দেখতে যান তিনি। এ সময় নির্মাণকাজের গুণগত মান ও অগ্রগতির সার্বিক খোঁজখবর নেন এবং দ্রুত সময়ের মধ্যে কাজ শেষ করার তাগিদ দেন মেয়র।

১৮৯ কোটি ৩৪ লাখ ৫৯ হাজার টাকা ব্যয় সাপেক্ষে ‘রাজশাহী মহানগরীর রাজশাহী-নওগাঁ প্রধান সড়ক হতে মোহনপুর রাজশাহী-নাটোর সড়ক পূর্ব-পশ্চিম সংযোগ সড়ক নির্মাণ’ শীর্ষক প্রকল্পের আওতায় রেলওয়ে ক্রসিং এর উপর র‌্যামসহ ফ্লাইওভার নির্মাণ করছে রাজশাহী সিটি কর্পোরেশন। ২০২ দশমিক ৫০ মিটারের ফ্লাইওভার এবং ১২০ মিটার দৈর্ঘ্য এর র‌্যাম নির্মাণে ব্যয় ধরা হয়েছে ২৯  কোটি ২৮ লাখ ৭৭ হাজার ৫৩২ টাকা। 

‘রাজশাহী মহানগরীর রাজশাহী-নওগাঁ প্রধান সড়ক হতে মোহনপুর রাজশাহী-নাটোর সড়ক পূর্ব-পশ্চিম সংযোগ সড়ক নির্মাণ’ প্রকল্পের আওতায় রাজশাহী-নওগাঁ মহাসড়কের আলিফ লাম মীম ভাটার মোড় হতে ছোট বনগ্রাম, মেহেরচন্ডী, বুধপাড়া, মোহনপুর হয়ে চৌদ্দপায়া রাজশাহী-নাটোর সড়ক পর্যন্ত পূর্ব-পশ্চিম সংযোগ সড়ক নির্মাণ কাজ প্রায় সম্পন্ন হয়েছে। 

প্রকল্পটির আওতায় নগরীর ২টি মহাসড়কের পূর্ব-পশ্চিমমুখি ৬.৭৯৩ কিলোমিটার ৪ লেন সংযোগ সড়ক নির্মাণ করা হয়েছে। এছাড়াও সড়কের দুই পাশে ফুটপাথ, ১টি ব্রীজ, ৮টি কালভার্ট, মিডিয়ান ও ট্রাফিক কাঠামো ইত্যাদি কাজ সম্পন্ন হয়েছে। কার্পেটিং ও অন্যান্য কাজ শেষ হলে স্বল্প সময়ের মধ্যে নির্মিত সড়কটি আনুষ্ঠানিকভাবে চলাচলের জন্য উন্মুক্ত করা হবে।

He went to see the carpeting work on the flyover on Thursday afternoon. During this time, the mayor inquired about the quality and progress of the construction work and urged to complete the work within a short time.

The Rajshahi City Corporation is constructing a flyover with RAM at the railway crossing under the project titled 'Construction of Mohanpur Rajshahi-Natore Road East-West Link Road from Rajshahi-Naogaon Main Road of Rajshahi Metropolis' at a cost of Taka 189 crore 34 lakh 59 thousand. The construction cost of the flyover of 202.50 meters and the length of 120 meters of RAM has been estimated at Tk 29 crore 28 lakh 77  thousand 532.

Under the project 'Construction of Mohanpur Rajshahi-Natore Road East-West Link Road from Rajshahi-Naogaon Main Road of Rajshahi Metropolis' from Alif Lam Meem Bhatar Junction of Rajshahi-Naogaon Highway to Chhota Banagram, Meherchandi, Budhpara, Mohanpur to Chauddapaya Rajshahi-Natore Road East- Construction work on the western link road is almost complete.Under the project, 6.793 km east-west 4 lane connecting road of 2 highways of the city has been constructed. Besides, footpaths, 1 bridge, 6 culverts, median and traffic structures have been completed on both sides of the road. Once the carpeting and other works are completed, the constructed road will be officially opened for traffic in a short time.
