যত্রতত্র পশুর হাটের অনুমতি দেয়া যাবে না বলে জানিয়ে দিয়েছেন আওয়ামী লীগ

তিনি বলেছেন, ‘কোরবানির পশুর হাটে করোনা সংক্রমণের হার আরও বাড়িয়ে দেয়ার আশঙ্কা থাকায় এ বিষয়ে গভীরভাবে চিন্তা করে কার্যকর গাইডলাইন তৈরি করতে হবে।’
বুধবার (১ জুলাই) এক ভিডিও বার্তায় ওবায়দুল কাদের আরও বলেন, ‘কঠোরভাবে স্বাস্থ্যবিধি প্রতিপালন না করলে কোরবানির পশুর হাট স্বাস্থ্যঝুঁকির ভয়ানক মাত্রায় নিয়ে যেতে পারে। প্রয়োজনে পশুর হাটের সংখ্যা কমিয়ে আনতে হবে। এ বিষয়ে সংশ্লিষ্টদের আগেই করণীয় নির্ধারণের আহ্বান জানাচ্ছি।’
মহাসড়ক ও মহাসড়কের আশেপাশে পশুর হাটের অনুমতি দেয়া যাবে না বলেও জানান সড়কমন্ত্রী।
দেশের বন্যা পরিস্থিতি প্রসঙ্গে সেতুমন্ত্রী বলেন, ‘দেশের উত্তরাঞ্চলের ৯টি জেলায় বন্যা পরিস্থিতি দেখা দিয়েছে। করোনার পাশাপাশি ঘূর্ণিঝড় আম্পানের রেশ না কাটতেই বন্যার পানিতে ডুবে যাচ্ছে বসতবাড়ি, কৃষকের ফসল ও মানুষের স্বপ্ন।’
তিনি বলেন, ‘প্রধানমন্ত্রী শেখ হাসিনার প্রয়োজনীয় নির্দেশনা অনুযায়ী বন্যাকবলিত জেলাসমূহে পাঠানো হচ্ছে ত্রাণ সহায়তা।
আমাদের আস্থার প্রাচীর, মনোবলের আলোকশিখা প্রধানমন্ত্রী শেখ হাসিনা প্রতিটি বিষয় নিবিড়ভাবে মনিটরিং করছেন।’
সকলকে ঐক্য এবং সাহসিকতার সাথে এসকল দুর্যোগ উত্তরণে কাজ কারারও আহ্বান জানিয়ে ওবায়দুল কাদের বলেন, ‘নানান প্রাকৃতিক দুর্যোগ মোকাবিলায় ইতোমধ্যে বাংলাদেশ যে সক্ষমতা দেখিয়েছে প্রধানমন্ত্রীর নেতৃত্বে সেই ধারাবাহিকতায় এবারও অসহায় মানুষের পাশে থেকে দুর্যোগ মোকাবিলায় সক্ষম হবো, ইনশাআল্লাহ্।’
তিনি বলেছেন, ‘কোরবানির পশুর হাটে করোনা সংক্রমণের হার আরও বাড়িয়ে দেয়ার আশঙ্কা থাকায় এ বিষয়ে গভীরভাবে চিন্তা করে কার্যকর গাইডলাইন তৈরি করতে হবে।’
বুধবার (১ জুলাই) এক ভিডিও বার্তায় ওবায়দুল কাদের আরও বলেন, ‘কঠোরভাবে স্বাস্থ্যবিধি প্রতিপালন না করলে কোরবানির পশুর হাট স্বাস্থ্যঝুঁকির ভয়ানক মাত্রায় নিয়ে যেতে পারে। প্রয়োজনে পশুর হাটের সংখ্যা কমিয়ে আনতে হবে। এ বিষয়ে সংশ্লিষ্টদের আগেই করণীয় নির্ধারণের আহ্বান জানাচ্ছি।’
মহাসড়ক ও মহাসড়কের আশেপাশে পশুর হাটের অনুমতি দেয়া যাবে না বলেও জানান সড়কমন্ত্রী।
