চাঁপাইনবাবগঞ্জ সদর হাসপাতালে পুর্নাঙ্গ করোনা ইউনিট চালু

ফয়সাল আজম অপু, বিশেষ প্রতিনিধিঃ চাঁপাইনবাবগঞ্জ সদর হাসপাতালে পূর্ণাঙ্গ করোনা ইউনিট চালু হয়েছে। সোমবার দুপুরে হাসপাতালের নতুন ভবনের ৮ম তলায় স্থাপিত করোনা ইউনিটের কার্যক্রম পুর্ণাঙ্গভাবে উদ্বোধনকালে অনুষ্ঠানে বক্তব্য রাখেন, চাঁপাইনবাবগঞ্জের সিভিল সার্জন ডা. জাহিদ নজরুল চৌধুরী, চাঁপাইনবাবগঞ্জ বিএমএ’র সভাপতি ডা. দুরুল হোদা, সাধারণ সম্পাদক ডা. গোলাম রাব্বানী। 

অনুষ্ঠানে জানানো হয়, করোনার প্রাদুর্ভাব দেখা দেয়ার পর থেকে চাঁপাইনবাবগঞ্জ সদর হাসপাতালের নতুন ভবনে আইসোলেশন ওয়ার্ড চালু হয়। 

সোমবার থেকে ১৮টি বেডে অক্সিজেন সরবরাহ সুবিধাসহ পূর্ণাঙ্গভাবে করোনা ইউনিটের কার্যক্রম চালু করা হলো। এখন থেকে করোনা ইউনিটের ৩০টি বেডে করোনা আক্রান্ত রোগিকে একসঙ্গে অক্সিজেন সরবরাহসহ চিকিৎসা সেবা প্রদান করা সম্ভব হবে। জেলায় বর্তমানে করোনা আক্রান্ত রোগী মোট ১০১জন। সুস্থ হয়েছেন ৬০ জন।

তিনি সকলকে সরকারী স্বাস্থ্য বিধি মেনে চলার জন্য বিশেষভাবে অনুরোধ জানান। অনুষ্ঠানে চাঁপাইনবাবগঞ্জ সদর হাসপাতালের আবাসিক চিকিৎসক নাদিম সরকার, চাঁপাইনবাবগঞ্জ স্বাধীনতা চিকিৎসক পরিষদের সাধারণ সম্পাদক ডা. নাহিদ ইসলাম মুন, জেলা ছাত্রলীগের সাধারণ সম্পাদক ডা. সাইফ জামান আনন্দ, চিকিৎসকসহ স্বাস্থ্য বিভাগের কর্মকর্তা, কর্মচারীরা উপস্থিত ছিলেন।

The corona unit was fully operational with oxygen supply facility in 16 beds from Monday. From now on, it will be possible to provide medical services including oxygen supply to the corona patients in 30 beds of the corona unit. At present there are 101 patients infected with corona in the district. 70 people have recovered.
