আম বাগানে গাঁজা চাষ জব্দ করল পুলিশ

ফয়সাল আজম অপু, বিশেষ প্রতিনিধিঃ চাঁপাইনবাবগঞ্জের শিবগঞ্জ উপজেলার ওমরপুর গ্রামের আম বাগান থেকে গাঁজার গাছ জব্দ করেছে থানা পুলিশ। অভিযান চালিয়ে বুলুর আম বাগান থেকে এগুলো জব্দ করা হয়। থানা সূত্রমতে, উপজেলার ওমরপুর গ্রামের মো. মনিরুল ইসলাম মনোর ছেলে বুলু ও একই গ্রামের ভোগুরুদ্দিনের ছেলে দারুল লোক চক্ষুর আড়ালে তাদের নিজস্ব আম বাগানে গোপনে গাঁজার চাষ করে আসছিল। 

সোমবার সকালে গোপন সংবাদের ভিত্তিতে শিবগঞ্জ থানা অফিসার ইনচার্জ মো. শাসমুল আলম শাহ’র দিক নির্দেশনায় এসআই সাঈদের নেতৃত্বে শিবগঞ্জ থানা পুলিশ গাঁজার গাছ জব্দ করে থানায় নিয়ে আসে। 

 এবিষয়ে এলাকাবাসি জানান, আমাদের এলাকা মাদকমুক্ত চায়। আমরা গাঁজা চাষীর উপযুক্ত বিচার চায়, তাদের যথোপযুক্ত শাস্তি হউক।

Faisal Azam Apu, Special Correspondent: Police have seized a cannabis plant from a mango orchard in Omarpur village of Shibganj upazila in Chapainawabganj. They were seized from Bulu's mango orchard during the operation. According to police sources, said the village of Omarpur. Bulu, son of Monirul Islam Mono and Darul Lok, son of Bhoguruddin of the same village were secretly cultivating cannabis in their own mango orchard behind the scenes.

Shibganj police officer in charge on the basis of secret news on Monday morning. Under the direction of Shasmul Alam Shah, Shibganj police led by SI Saeed seized the cannabis plant and brought it to the police station.



In this regard, the locals said, our area wants drug free. We want a fair trial for the cannabis growers, let them be punished accordingly.
