পুঠিয়া থানার দুই পুলিশ সদস্য করোনায় আক্রান্ত

মোহাম্মদ আলী : রাজশাহীর পুঠিয়ায় থানার দুই পুলিশ সদস্য করোনায় আক্রান্ত হয়েছে। আক্রান্ত দুই পুলিশ সদস্যরা হলো, পুঠিয়া থানার কনস্টেবল আলিমুল বারেক (৩৬) ও মনিরুল ইসলাম (৩৫)। ৩০ জুন মঙ্গলবার সকালে তার রিপোর্ট পজেটিভ আসে।

পুঠিয়া উপজেলা স্বাস্থ্য ও পরিবার পরিকল্পনা অফিসার ডাক্তার নাজমা আক্তার বিষয়টি নিশ্চিত করে বলেন, তাঁরা পুঠিয়া থানায় কর্মরত অবস্থায় আক্রান্ত হন। পরে তাদের শরীরে করোনার উপসর্গ দেখা দিলে গত ২৩ জুন পুঠিয়া উপজেলা স্বাস্থ্য কমপ্লেক্সের স্বাস্থ্য কর্মীরা তার নমুনা সংগ্রহ করে রামেক হাসপাতালে পাঠায়।

মঙ্গলবার তার রিপোর্ট পজেটিভ আসে। বর্তমানে আলিমুল বারেক উপজেলা সদরের একটি ভাড়াবাসায় এবং মনিরুল ইসলাম পুঠিয়া থানা অস্থায়ী ব্যারাকে আইসোলেশনে থাকবেন। সেখানেই তার চিকিৎসার সুব্যবস্থা করা হবে।
এ বিষয়ে পুঠিয়া উপজেলা নির্বাহী অফিসার মোঃ  ওলিউজ্জামান জানান, আক্রান্তের বাড়ি এবং পুলিশের অস্থায়ী ব্যারাকটি লকডাউন করা হয়েছে।

Mohammad Ali: Two policemen of Puthia police station in Rajshahi have been attacked by Corona. The two victims were Puthia police constable Alimul Barek, 38, and Monirul Islam, 35. His report came positive on Tuesday morning, June 30th.

Puthia Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Dr Nazma Akhter confirmed the matter and said they were attacked while working at Puthia Police Station. Later, when corona symptoms appeared in their body, the health workers of Puthia Upazila Health Complex collected the samples on June 23 and sent them to Ramek Hospital.

His report came positive on Tuesday. At present Alimul Barek will be in a rented house in Upazila Sadar and Monirul Islam will be in isolation in the temporary barracks of Puthia Thana. His treatment will be arranged there.
Puthia Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md. Oliuzzaman said that the victim's house and the temporary police barracks have been locked down.
