ফয়সাল আজম অপু, বিশেষ প্রতিনিধিঃ চাঁপাইনবাবগঞ্জ সদর উপজেলার বালিয়াডাঙ্গা ইউনিয়নের নশিপুর গ্রামে বেবিয়ারা বেগম (৩০) নামে এক গৃহবধূ নিজ দেবরের বিরুদ্ধে ধর্ষণ চেষ্টার অভিযোগে সদর মডেল থানায় নারী ও শিশু নির্যাতন দমন আইনে মামলা দায়ের করেছে।
বেবিয়ারা বেগম নশিপুর গ্রামের মো. শাহাজামালের স্ত্রী ও মোসা. মাহারানীর মেয়ে। ৯ জুন রাত সাড়ে ১০ টার দিকে দেবর মো. মহবুল (২৮) তার ভাবিকে ধর্ষণের চেষ্টা করেন। ১ জুলাই সদর মডেল থানায় ৫ জনকে আসামী করে মামলা দায়ের করা হয়। মামলা নং-২।
আসামী ৫ জন হচ্ছে, চাঁপাইনবাবগঞ্জ সদর উপজেলার বালিয়াডাঙ্গা ইউনিয়নের নশিপুর গ্রামের মো. জালাল উদ্দীনের ছেলে মো. মহবুল (২৮), মৃত মকবুলের ছেলে জামাল উদ্দীন (৫০), মো. জালাল উদ্দীনের ছেলে মাহাবুল আলী (৩০), মো. জালাল উদ্দীনের ছেলে শাহাবুল আলী (৩৭) ও জালাল উদ্দীনের আরেক ছেলে সাকির আলী (২৫)।
এজাহার সূত্রে জানা গেছে, বেবিয়ারার স্বামী চিকিৎসার জন্য ৬ জুন থেকে রাজশাহী মেডিকেল কলেজ হাসপাতালে চিকিৎসার জন্য ভর্তি ছিলেন। ঘটনার দিন বাড়িতে বেবিয়ারা ও তার ১২ বছরের মেয়েকে নিয়ে ছিলেন। এ দিন রাত সাড়ে ১০টার দিকে বেবিয়ারার দেবর মহবুল ঘরে ঢুকে জোর করে বেবিয়ারাকে জড়িয়ে ধরে খাটের উপর শুইয়ে পরনের কাপড় খুলে ধর্ষণের চেষ্টা করে মহবুল।
এ সময় বেবিয়ারার চিৎকারে এলাকার রনি, টনিকসহ অনেকে এসে মহবুলকে ধরে ফেলে। পরে বেবিয়ারার শ্বশুর মো. জালাল উদ্দীন, মো. মাহাবুল আলী, মো. শাহাবুল আলী, সাকির আলী এসে আটক মহবুলকে ছাড়িয়ে নিয়ে যায়।এ বিষয়ে সদর মডেল থানার অফিসার ইনচার্জ ওসি মো, জিয়াউর রহমান পিপিএম জানান, ধর্ষণ চেষ্টার অভিযোগে বাদি বেবিয়ারা বেগম ১ জুলাই জোর পূর্বক ভাবে ইচ্ছার বিরুদ্ধে ধর্ষণের চেষ্টা ও সহায়তা এবং নারী ও শিশু নির্যাতন দমন আইনে মামলা করেন।
তিনি জানান, মামলার পর পুলিশ দ্রুত ৩ নং আসামী মাহাবুল ও ৪ নং আসামী শাহাবুলকে গ্রেপ্তার করা হয়। বাকী আসামীদের গ্রেপ্তারে পুলিশের অভিযান অব্যাহত রয়েছে।এদিকে থানায় মামলা দায়ের করায় বাদি ও স্বাক্ষীগণকে হত্যা ও মামলা তুলে নিতে হুমকি দিয়েছে আসামীর লোকজন। নিরাপত্তার জন্য স্বাক্ষী রনি ও বাদি বেবিয়ারা ৬ জুলাই থানায় দুটি নতুন করে সাধারণ ডায়রী করেন।
নতুন দুটি ডাইরী সূত্রে জানা গেছে, ৪ জুলাই বিকেল ৫ টার দিকে হাসান নামে আসামী পক্ষের লোক বেবিয়ারাকে মামলা তুলে নিতে বলে। না হলে হত্যা করা হবে বলেও হুমকি প্রদান করে। ৫ জুলাই সকাল সাড়ে ৭ টার দিকে নশিপুর ঘোষপাড়া নদীর ধারে আসামী পক্ষের লোকজন স্বাক্ষী রনিকে স্বাক্ষী হতে নিষেধ করে। স্বাক্ষী দিলে মারপিট ও মামলা দিয়ে জেল খাটারও হুমকি দেয়া হয়। জিডি দুটির নং- ২৮৭ ও ২৮৬।
