আন্তর্জাতিক ডেস্ক: কিছুতেই আগ্রাসন থামাচ্ছে না চীন। ক্রমে আরও আগ্রাসী হয়ে উঠছে দেশটি। তবে ভুটানের অংশ নিজের বলে দাবি করা ও ভারতীয় ভূখণ্ডে আগ্রাসন চালানো, বেইজিংয়ের পরিকল্পনার অংশমাত্র। এই পদক্ষেপগুলির আসল উদ্দেশ্য হচ্ছে আন্তর্জাতিক মঞ্চের প্রতিক্রিয়া যাচাই করা বা সকলের ধৈর্যের পরীক্ষা নেওয়া। মার্কিন সেনেটে দাঁড়িয়ে এমনটাই তোপ দাগলেন সে দেশের বিদেশসচিব মাইক পম্পেও।

বেইজিংকে তুলোধোনা করে তিনি আরও বলেন, “ক্ষমতা বিস্তার ও গোটা বিশ্বকে নিজেদের নাগালের মধ্যে আনাই চিনের লক্ষ্য। এখন আবার ভুটানের এলাকাকেও নিজেরে এলাকা বলে দাবি করছে। ভারতেও অনুপ্রবেশ ঘটিয়েছে। তারা জানতে চাইছে, আমর সবকিছু মুখ বন্ধ করে নেব, না প্রতিবাদ করব। এক বছর আগেও যতটা না নিশ্চিত ছিলাম, এ ব্যাপারে এখন তার চেয়ে ঢের বেশি আত্মবিশ্বাসী আমি। জানি ওদের বিরুদ্ধে রুখে দাঁড়াতে প্রস্তুত গোটা বিশ্ব। সমসত আসিয়ান দেশগুলি একমত যে দক্ষিণ চীন সাগর নিয়ে চলা বিবাদের সমাধান আন্তর্জাতিক আইন মেনেই হওয়া উচিত। চীনা কমিউনিস্ট পার্টির থেকে উৎপন্ন হওয়া বিপদ কাটিয়ে উঠব আমরা।”
