৬টি মোটরসহ চোর চক্রের ২সদস্য আটক

রায়হান আলম, নওগাঁ প্রতিনিধি: সাড়ে ৫৬ হাজার টাকা মূল্যের ৬টি মোটর ও বৈদ্যুতিক তারসহ চোর চক্রের ২সদস্যকে আটক করেছে নওগাঁ জেলা ডিবি পুলিশ। আটককৃতরা হলেন, নওগাঁ জেলার রানীনগর উপজেলার চকাদিন নিমতলী গ্রামের মৃত খয়ের আলীর ছেলে সাদ্দাম হোসেন (২৩) এবং একই উপজেলার চকাদিন মোলাপাড়া গ্রামের মোহসীন প্রামানিকের ছেলে শাহিনুর প্রামানিক (২৪)।

এবিষয়ে বুধবার দুপুর সাড়ে ১২টায় নওগাঁর অতিরিক্ত পুলিশ সুপার রকিবুল আক্তার ডিবি পুলিশের কার্যালয়ে সাংবাদিকদের ব্রিফিং কালে এসব তথ্য জানান। তিনি বলেন, গোপন সংবাদের ভিত্তিতে ডিবির ওসি কেএম শামসুদ্দিনের নেতৃত্বে এসআই মহসিন রেজা, মোস্তফা কামাল, এএসআই ফেরদৌস আলী, মেহেদী হাসান সঙ্গীয় ফোর্সসহ গতকাল মঙ্গলবার  নিজ এলাকা থেকে বিকেলে তাদেরকে আটক করা হয়েছে। তাদের দেয়া তথ্য মতে, তাদের দখল হতে ৫৬ হাজার ৫শ টাকা মূল্যের ৬টি হর্স মোটর ও বৈদ্যুতিক তার উদ্ধার করা হয়েছে। 

তিনি বলেন, গ্রেফতারকৃতদের বিরুদ্ধে গতকাল রানীনগর থানায় দন্ডবিধি আইনের ৪৫৭/৩৮০/৪১১ ধারায় একটি মামলা দায়ের করা হয়েছে। যার নম্বর ০৭। এসময় উপস্থিত ছিলেন অতিরিক্ত পুলিশ সুপার ফারজানা হোসেন, সিনিয়র সহকারী পুলিশ সুপার সুরাইয়া আক্তার, ডিবি পুলিশের ওসি কেএম শামসুদ্দিন প্রমূখ।

Two members of the gang were arrested along with 6 motors

Raihan Alam, Naogaon Correspondent: Naogaon district DB police have arrested two members of a gang of thieves with 8 motors and electric wires worth Tk 56,000. The arrested are Saddam Hossain, 23, son of late Khair Ali of Chakadin Nimtali village in Raninagar upazila of Naogaon district and Shahinur Pramanik, 24, son of Mohsin Pramanik of Chakadin Molpara village in the same upazila.

Naogaon Additional Superintendent of Police Rakibul Akhter told reporters at a briefing at the DB police office at 12:30 pm on Wednesday. He said SI Mohsin Reza, Mostafa Kamal, ASI Ferdous Ali, Mehedi Hasan along with allied forces led by DB OC KM Shamsuddin were arrested from their area on Tuesday afternoon on the basis of secret information. According to the information provided by them, 8 horse motors and electric wires worth Tk 56,500 were recovered from their possession.

He said a case under Section 457/380/411 of the Penal Code was filed against the arrested at Raninagar Police Station yesterday. Whose number is 07. Additional Superintendent of Police Farzana Hossain, Senior Assistant Superintendent of Police Suraiya Akhter, DB Police OC KM Shamsuddin and others were present on the occasion.
