ঘটনাটি ঘটেছে গত ৫ জুলাই। অভিনেত্রীর কথায়, ফ্ল্যাট ফাঁকা থাকার সুযোগ নিয়েই তাকে ধর্ষণ করা হয়েছে। শুধু তাই নয়, অভিনেত্রীর অশ্লীল ছবি মোবাইলে ভিডিও করে রাখে তার প্রেমিক। কাউকে কিছু জানালে সেই ভিডিও ভাইরাল করে দেওয়ার হুমকিও তাকে দেওয়া হয় বলে অভিযোগ।

ঘটনার পর গত কয়েকদিন ধরেই মানসিকভাবে বিপর্যস্ত ওই টলিউড অভিনেত্রী। এমনকী, বার কয়েক আত্মহত্যার কথাও ভেবেছেন তিনি। তবে পরে মানবাধিকার কমিশনের সঙ্গে কথা বললে মনোবল বাড়ে। তাদের পরামর্শেই অবশেষে বুধবার যাদবপুর থানায় প্রেমিকের বিরুদ্ধে অভিযোগ দায়ের করেন তিনি। সূত্রের খবর, চিত্তরঞ্জন মেডিক্যাল কলেজ হাসপাতালে অভিনেত্রীর শারীরিক পরীক্ষাও হয়।

বছর তিনেক আগে ফের ওই যুবকের সঙ্গে দেখা হয়। যিনি কিনা পেশায় একজন ব্যবসায়ী। এরপর থেকেই বাড়তে থাকে ঘনিষ্ঠতা। অভিনেত্রীর অভিযোগ, সম্পর্কে যাওয়ার কিছুদিন পর থেকেই তার কাছে ব্যবসার জন্য টাকা চাইতে থাকে ওই যুবক। শুধু তাই নয়, মারধরও চলত।
