ফয়সাল আজম অপু, বিশেষ প্রতিনিধিঃ নিত্য প্রয়োজনীয় জিনিসপত্রের পাশাপাশি কাঁচা বাজারে সবজির দাম দ্বিগুন বেড়ে যাওয়ায় হতাশায় ভুগছে চাঁপাইনবাবগঞ্জের সদর উপজেলার মানুষ। করোনা ভাইরাসের অজুহাতে বাড়তি দামের কারণে কর্মহীন শ্রমজীবী মানুষগুলো আরো বেশি অসহায় হয়ে পড়েছে। সদর উপজেলার রামচন্দ্রপুরহাট ঘুরে দেখা গেছে, এক সপ্তাহের ব্যবধানে নিত্য প্রয়োজনীয় দ্রব্যের দাম কিছুটা স্বাভাবিক থাকলেও সবজির দাম বেড়েছে কেজিতে ৩০-৫০ টাকা।
রোববার দুপুরে উপজেলা সদরের রামচন্দ্রপুরহাট, মহারাজপুরহাট ও বারঘরিয়া ডেলিবাজার সহ কয়েকটি কাঁচা বাজার ঘুরে এমনটা দেখা গেছে। কাটুয়া ডাটা ২০ টাকা, লাউ প্রতি পিস ৪৫ টাকা, করলা ৪০ টাকা, পটল ৪০ টাকা, কাঁকরোল ৬০ টাকা, কচু ৬০ টাকা, ঢেড়শ ৩০ টাকা, ঝিঙ্গা ৪০ টাকা, চিচিঙ্গা ৬০ টাকা, চাল কুমড়া প্রতি পিস ৩০-৪০ টাকা, ধুন্দল ৬০ টাকা, ৩০ টাকার শসা বিক্রি হচ্ছে ৬০ টাকায়, বেগুন ৬০ টাকা, আলু ৪০ টাকা থেকে ৩৫ টাকা এবং লেবু ও কাঁচা কলার হালি ৪০ টাকায় বিক্রি হচ্ছে। এছাড়া কাঁচা মরিচ বিক্রিতে সর্বোচ্চ রেকর্ড ছাড়িয়েছে ১৪০-১৬০ টাকা কেজি।
এদিকে উপজেলা বাজার ছাড়িয়ে গ্রামের হাটবাজার গুলোতেও সব পণ্যের দাম বেড়েছে। সাধারণ ক্রেতাদের সাথে কথা বলে জানা যায়, বাজারে প্রতিটি পণ্যের দাম বেড়েছে। যথাযথ মনিটরিং ব্যবস্থা না থাকায় কাচাঁ বাজার নিয়ন্ত্রণকারী ও অসাধু ব্যবসায়ীরা সিন্ডিকেট করে প্রতিটি পণ্যের দাম বাড়িয়ে দিয়েছে। তারা আরো জানান, এমনিতে করোনা ভাইরাসের কারণে মানুষের দিন কাটছে অনেক কষ্টে। তার উপর দ্রব্যমূল্যের দাম অসহনীয় থাকায় যেন মরার উপর খাড়ার ঘাঁ।
সবজির দাম এক লাফে দ্বিগুন বাড়ার কারণ জানতে চাইলে রামচন্দ্রপুরহাটের কাঁচামাল ব্যবসায়ী কবির হোসেন, মজিবুর রহমান ও আনসার আলি জানান, ঘুর্ণিঝড় আম্ফানের আগে আমাদের এলাকার গ্রাম্য চাষী ও পার্শ্ববর্তী সদর ও শিবগঞ্জ উপজেলার পাঁকা চরাঞ্চল এলাকা এবং নারায়ণপুর চরে উৎপাদিত বিভিন্ন ধরনের শাক-সবজি পাইকারী কিনে বিক্রি করায় এলাকার চাহিদা অনেকটা পূরণ হত এখন বন্যা ও গত দুই সপ্তাহের ভারী বৃষ্টির কারণে ক্ষেতে পানি জমে তা নষ্ট হয়ে যাওয়ার কারনে ওই সব এলাকা থেকে বর্তমানে কোন কাঁচামাল আসছে না। যার ফলে চাঁপাইনবাবগঞ্জ নতুন স্টেডিয়াম মোকাম থেকে বেশি দামে কিনতে হচ্ছে। এ কারণে বিক্রিও করতে হয় বেশি দামে।
শিবগঞ্জ উপজেলার কাঁচামাল ব্যবসায়ী মোঃ বাচ্চূ হোসেন বলেন, জেলার বিভিন্ন আড়ৎ সমূহে সবধরনের সবজির দাম বৃদ্ধি পেয়েছে সে কারনে আমাদের বেশী দামে কিনে আবার খুচরা বাজারে সাপ্লাই দিতে হচ্ছে। তাই সবজি কিছুটা বেশি দামে বিক্রি হচ্ছে।
জানতে চাইলে চাঁপাইনবাবগঞ্জ তহা বাজার ব্যবসায়ী কমিটির সাধারণ সম্পাদক বলেন, নিত্য প্রয়োজনীয় প্রতিটি পণ্য ও সবজি বর্তমানে কোন জেলার বাইরে থেকে না আসায় বাড়তি দাম দিয়ে কিনতে হচ্ছে। করোনা ভাইরাসের কারনে পণ্য পরিবহন খরচসহ অন্যান্য খাতেও ব্যয় বেড়েছে। তাই সব পণ্যেরই দাম কিছুটা বেড়েছে।

Katua data 20 rupees, pumpkin 45 rupees per piece, karla 40 rupees, patal 40 rupees, kankrol 60 rupees, kachu 60 rupees, dhersh 30 rupees, shrimp 40 rupees, chichinga 60 rupees, rice pumpkin 30-40 rupees, dhundal 60 Cucumbers are being sold at Tk 80, eggplants at Tk 60, potatoes at Tk 40 to 35 and lemons and raw bananas at Tk 40.Besides, the highest record in the sale of raw chillies has been 140-160 rupees per kg.
