ফয়সাল আজম অপু, বিশেষ প্রতিনিধিঃ প্রাণঘাতী করোনা সংক্রমণের পরিস্থিতিতে ব্যবসা-বানিজ্যে গতি ফিরিয়ে আনতে চাঁপাইনবাবগঞ্জের শিবগঞ্জ উপজেলায় দেশের দ্বিতীয় বৃহত্তম সোনামসজিদ স্থলবন্দরে সি.এ্যান্ড.এফ এজেন্টদের নিয়ে মতবিনিময় সভা অনুষ্ঠিত হয়েছে। বুধবার দুপুরে সোনামসজিদ স্থলবন্দর কাস্টমস চত্বরে পণ্য আমদানী-রপ্তানির বিভিন্ন দিক নিয়ে আলোচনা করেন সিএ্যান্ডএফ এজেন্ট এসোসিয়েশন নেতারা।

সভায় তত্বাবধায়ক বা আহ্বায়ক কমিটি গঠনের মাধ্যমে ১ মাসের মধ্যে নিয়মমাফিকভাবে গণতান্ত্রিক উপায়ে নির্বাচনের দাবিতে হাত তুলে মৌখিকভাবে সম্মতি দিয়ে ঐক্যমত হন সি.এ্যান্ড.এফ এজেন্টগণ। সিএ্যান্ডএফ এজেন্ট আব্দুল গফুরের সভাপতিত্বে মতবিনিময় সভায় বক্তব্য রাখেন, আহ্বায়ক জিএম বাবুল চৌধুরী, সিএ্যান্ডএফ এজেন্ট রুহুল আমিন, আব্দুস সবুর, জাহাঙ্গীর আলম প্রমূখ। 

মতবিনিময় সভায় উপস্থিত ছিলেন, সিএ্যান্ডএফ এজেন্ট শফিকুল ইসলাম টানু, হারুনুর রশীদ, আব্দুল আওয়াল, সেলিম আহমেদ, মো. লাকিসহ অন্যান্যরা। সভায় বক্তব্যে সোনামসজিদ স্থলবন্দরে বিভিন্ন দুর্নীতি-অনিয়মের বিপক্ষে কথা বলেন সিএ্যান্ডএফ এজেন্টরা। 

আব্দুর সবুর বলেন, গত ১২ বছরের বিভিন্ন সময়ে এখানে দায়িত্বপ্রাপ্তরা লুটপাট করেছে। তথ্য আছে, কর্মচারীদের ১ লক্ষ ৫৭ হাজার টাকা বেতন বন্ধ রয়েছে। এসময় সকলকে সোচ্চার হওয়ার আহ্বান জানান তিনি।
