কারাগারে কোভিড-১৯ প্রতিরোধে প্রস্তুতি বিষয়ক অনলাইন প্রশিক্ষণ প্রদান

মহামারী কোভিড-১৯ রোগ মোকাবেলার অংশ হিসেবে কারাভ্যন্তরে চিকিৎসক,স্বাস্থ্য কর্মী ও সাধারন কর্মীদের দৈহিক ও মানসিক চাপ ব্যবস্থাপনা এবং এর প্রতিরোধে প্রস্তুতি বিষয়ক চারদিন ব্যাপী অনলাইন প্রশিক্ষণ প্রদান শুরু করল ঢাকা আহ্ছানিয়া মিশন স্বাস্থ্য সেক্টর। 

প্রশিক্ষণ শুরু হয় গত ১ জুলাই ২০২০ তারিখ এবং শেষ হয় আজ ৫ জুলাই ২০২০ তারিখ। স্বাস্থ্য সেক্টর, ঢাকা আহ্ছানিয়া মিশনের তত্ত্বাবধানে দেশের ৬৮ টি কারাগারে পর্যায়ক্রমে প্রশিক্ষণটি পরিচালিত হবে। এটি ছিল প্রশিক্ষণের প্রথম ব্যাচ এবং এই ব্যাচে কাশিমপুর কেন্দ্রীয় কারাগার-১,  নারায়ণগঞ্জ জেলা কারাগার, কিশোরগঞ্জ জেলা কারাগার ও গাজীপুর জেলা কারাগারের মোট ২০ জন বিভিন্ন পর্যায়ের কর্মী অংশগ্রহণ করেন। 

উল্লেখ্য গত ১লা জুলাই-২০২০ ঢাকা আহ্ছানিয়া মিশন, জিআইজেড  বাংলাদেশ ইন্টারন্যাশনাল কমিটি ফর রেড ক্রস ও কারা অধিদপ্তরের যৌথ উদ্যোগে ঢাকা আহ্ছানিয়া মিশন কর্তৃক বাস্তবায়িত ইমপ্রুভমেন্ট অফ দ্যা রিয়েল সিচুয়েশন অফ ওভারক্রাউডিং ইন প্রিজন ইন বাংলাদেশ (আইআরএসওপি) প্রকল্পে মাধ্যমে প্রশিক্ষণের উদ্বোধনী   অনুষ্ঠানের প্রধান অতিথি ছিলেন কারা মহাপরিদর্শক জনাব ব্রিগেডিয়ার জেনারেল এ কে এম  মোস্তফা কামাল পাশা। 

বিশেষ অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন জনাব তাহেরা ইয়াসমিন, ডিরেক্টর অপারেশন, রুলঅফল,জি আই জেড বাংলাদেশ ও ইন্টারন্যাশনাল কমিটি ফর রেড ক্রস এর  ডিটেনশন টিম লিডার সিমন সারভি। 

অনুষ্ঠানের স্বাগত বক্তব্য প্রদান করেন ঢাকা আহ্ছানিয়া মিশনের স্বাস্থ্য সেক্টরের পরিচালক জনাব ইকবাল মাসুদ।

Provide online training on Covid-19 prevention in prisons

The Dhaka Ahsania Mission Health Sector has started providing four-day online training on physical and mental stress management and preparedness to physicians, health workers and general staff in prisons as part of the fight against epidemic Kovid-19.

The training started on July 1, 2020 and ended on July 5, 2020. The training will be conducted in phases in 6 prisons of the country under the supervision of Health Sector, Dhaka Ahsania Mission. This was the first batch of training and a total of 20 staff members from Kashimpur Central Jail-1, Narayanganj District Jail, Kishoreganj District Jail and Gazipur District Jail participated in this batch.

On July 1, 2020, Dhaka Ahsania Mission, GIZ Bangladesh International Committee for Red Cross and the Department of Prisons jointly implemented the Improvement of the Real Situation of Overcrowding in Prison in Bangladesh (IRO) program conducted by Dhaka Ahsania Mission. Inspector General Mr. Brigadier General AKM Mostafa Kamal Pasha.

Mr. Tahera Yasmin, Director Operations, RuleOffle, GIZ Bangladesh and Simon Sarvi, Detention Team Leader of International Committee for Red Cross were present as special guests.


Mr. Iqbal Masood, Director, Health Sector, Dhaka Ahsania Mission delivered the welcome address.
