বরেণ্য সংগীতশিল্পী এন্ড্রু কিশোর এর মৃত্যুতে মেয়র লিটনের শোক প্রকাশ

প্রেস বিজ্ঞপ্তি: বাংলাদেশের কিংবদন্তি ও বরেণ্য সংগীতশিল্পী এন্ড্রু কিশোর এর মৃত্যুতে গভীর শোক ও দুঃখ প্রকাশ করেছেন রাজশাহী সিটি কর্পোরেশনের মেয়র এ.এইচ.এম খায়রুজ্জামান লিটন। সোমবার এক শোক বার্তায় এই শোক ও দুঃখ প্রকাশ করেন তিনি। শোক বার্তায় মরহুমের আত্মার শান্তি কামনা ও তাঁর শোক সন্তপ্ত পরিবারের প্রতি গভীর সমবেদনা জানিয়েছেন মেয়র।
শোক বার্তায় মেয়র খায়রুজ্জামান লিটন বলেন, রাজশাহীর উজ্জ্বল নক্ষত্র ও গর্ব প্রখ্যাত কণ্ঠশিল্পী এন্ড্রু কিশোর। তাঁর মৃত্যুতে দেশের মানুষ একজন কিংবদন্তি, বরেণ্য ও জনপ্রিয় সংগীতশিল্পীকে হারাল। তাঁর মৃত্যুতে দেশের সংগীত জগতের যে ক্ষতি হলো, তা অপূরণীয়। প্লেব্যাক সম্রাট’ খ্যাত দেশবরেণ্য সঙ্গীতশিল্পী এন্ড্রু কিশোর তাঁর গানের মাধ্যমে মানুষের মাঝে চিরস্মরণীয় হয়ে থাকবেন।

He expressed his grief and sorrow in a condolence message on Monday. In his condolence message, Mayor Khairuzzaman Liton said that Andrew Kishore, a brilliant star and proud singer of Rajshahi. In his death, the people of the country lost a legendary, eminent and popular musician. The damage done to the country's music world by his death is irreparable.
